Bonney Camping in Texas

Last Monday afternoon, my friend and I went camping for one night at the Ray Rogers State Park north of Denton in Texas. It was my first time going camping here in Texas! I used to go camping many times in Colorado, California, Oregon, and Washington. It is really neat to go camping here in October because the weather is really cool not humid! The temperatures were around 65 degrees high in daytime and at night was around 45 degrees! Cool weather compare summer weather!

It is really unique to go camping here because there were very few campsites just our tent, and a few other sites not many people like the summer months. It is really quiet and peaceful seeing the nature, trees breezing, beautiful scenery to see the lake, watching the birds flying around us, and a few squirrels eating nuts from trees, and birds making songs. Staying outdoors gave us fresh air to refresh our brains and lungs. It was a beautiful sunny day where we could enjoy our two days! The lake is shiny bright blue reflecting the sun rays to brighten our spirits where there is very few people riding the boats. We like the camping very much at this time in October!
