Battle in Missouri

On the Missouri side, the deaf community is preparing for a major battle against the state of Missouri to restore deaf services for mental health for deaf people. Last year, the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) suddenly terminated its statewide deaf services by terminating positions of several deaf professionals working for the state at several mental health centers across the state.
