JohnRiding a Harley
Written by: John Cage from Texas

On Saturday morning in Hill Country of South Texas, I decided to take a ride in a Harley-Davidson bike with my brother in law, Jack. It was a cool crispy Saturday morning and the sky was blue as like an ocean. Green trees surrounding the hill country. Riding down the winding road and feeling the cool wind breezy by. Feeling the heart mellow as connecting to Mother's nature atomsphere. Watching the hawk flying by. Passing by cyclists and waving as to say hello. A car passing by me, a kid in the car window looking at me, smiling and looking him back smiling and waved. As I was riding, thinking a lot on what I was doing. Looking down the road and wondering. I know myself that I felt I had the control and felt that I was connected. There were talks about why people ride a harley. What's so special about them? Honestly I dont know till I rode one! . All it took me one weekend to understand why. Now I knew because the word I found for me was RELEASE. Release???? Because of this word, Release that I felt free, felt control, felt focus, and felt glory. Those were combination of feeling Release. Its a great feeling to be connected. That morning in the picture was at the Enchanted Rocks state park just outside of Frederickburg, Texas. In the background behind me is Enchanted Rocks. A very popular place to visit during the Fall and Spring so people can enjoy hiking and climbing up to the top peak of Enchanted Rocks. When you are at the top, You can look around and say, "Man, God Bless this Country!"
